In the centennial year of Glacier National Park, the Holter Museum of Art plans to celebrate Montana through 5 exhibits that fall under the banner of "Montana: Earth, Wood, Fire and Ice." As a part of these festivities, Barry Hood's show,FLOW will open on August 12. Made up of both sandcast and woodcast glass this exhibition reveals the results of Hood's deep exploration into the natural world over the last 10 years. The show then moves to the Copper Village Museum in Anaconda, Montana for November and December 2010. On January 6, 2011 the show FLOW opens at the Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell, Montana for nine weeks. The Montana Museum of Art and Culture in Missoula, at the University of Montana hosts the show FLOW from Mid- March through May of 2011.
